There’s Heat in that Tent

As we draw hours away from the 18th Annual Irish 2000 Festival, here are some last-minute helpful hints for all concert goers.

  • There will be heaters in the Contemporary Tent both Friday and Saturday evenings. While it can get cool around here this time of year, the heaters work well and we’re happy to provide them. Plus, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will warm you up, too!
  • We recommend if you’re staying into the evening, you bring a jacket, sweatshirt -- whatever. Won’t hurt and might come in handy.
  • If you plan on buying advance-sale, discounted tickets, you have until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 to buy them on our website. If you’re purchasing at Price Chopper, you have until midnight on Sept. 11. Then, they’re gone!
  • Shuttle service to and from the festival is available at several locations throughout Albany County and from The Parting Glass in Saratoga Springs. It's inexpensive, easy and offered to everyone. Details are on this website.

Most of all -- come! Tell your friends! Slainte!
